What You will Learn in this Level
On completion of this level you will have a thorough understanding of LightWave's animation tools. As you know we cover all aspects (modeling, texturing, animation, and lighting) in each level, although in this level, we really elaborate on animation: Intermediate animation concepts and rigging; facial animation; character animation; acting and motion for animators; 12 principles of animation; Motion Graph and expressions.

How Long to Teach this Level
This Level has always been our most complex and time consuming, and usually takes 12 weeks to complete. We limit it to the basics of character animation, and once Lighting is covered in Level 5 then we recommend more advanced Character animation. (Based on 5 hours of lecture and 20 hours of lab per week.)

Each Level contains several Modules of Professionally recorded CDs. Each Module includes hours of recorded Lecture and typically requires several weeks to teach. Remember our recorded lectures are to be followed in a structured format, tested and given plenty of lab time to complete. The order of modules is important with this level; all projects were developed around the tools to build upon each other.
